The alert that went to millions of Floridians at 4:45 a.m. Thursday was meant only for televisions and sent to cellphones across the state in error. Gov. Ron DeSantis has demanded `swift accountability` for the error, and the state will be cutting ties with the software contractor responsible for sending the alert.
